MonsterBuds Smoke Session
Fast, exciting gameplay mixed with play-and-earn functionality, MonsterBuds Smoke Session is a card-based game designed for cannabis lovers.
MonsterBuds Smoke Session was created by people who understand the fun behind the great cannabis plant. It was designed to be the FIRST ever smoke session game to play with friends.
Built from the ground up, we made the game quick and simple for anyone to play and understand, no matter what state of mind you are in. Now let's rip one and find out how to play!

Intro Game Mechanics

To get started, select three Buds to play. Every attribute of those Buds will be factored into your overall Tolerance Score. Your Tolerance Score will measure how much you can smoke before you get smoked out and lose the game.
If you don't own three Buds, or any Buds for that matter, you can borrow from any of the Buds in our database that are available and ready to go. This process allows us to maximize the user base while retaining value for Generation 1 MonsterBuds. After using a Generation 1 Bud, there will be a cooldown period placed in effect.
The team that gets the highest, loses their tolerance, and passes out, loses the game.
IF YOU GET SMOKED OUT, YOU LOSE.
IF YOU CAN SMOKE EM ALL, YOU WIN.

Card Types

There are multiple categories of cards for the game. Card categories include Hit, Reverse, Block, Power Up, Steal, Combo, Second Wind, and The Ripper.

Hit Cards

The best way to make friends is to pass that sweet Mary Jane. These cards are the main card of the game. Throw a hit to your opponent and target a specific attribute. If your opponent's Buds have the specific attribute, they will take a hit and their Tolerance Score will go down.
Stoner version: The player that gets hit takes the hit shown, you can also use whatever paraphernalia you want.

Reverse Cards

Thanks for the hit but I’m sending it back to you Bud! Reverse cards can only be played after a hit card. They will reverse the exact hit back to the person who puff puff passed to you.
Stoner version: The player that sent the hit must now take the hit shown.

Blocks/Defense Cards

Someone throws you a hit, nope, not today Bud! Play this card directly after your opponent sends you a hit and it will block it. No attributes effected.
Stoner version: No one smokes at this time, take a breather.

Steal Cards

You will be able to “steal” a card from your opponent, could possibly be a Second Wind! Tell your opponent to hold their cards out and select 1 card from their hand.
Stoner version: Steal a piece of weed from your friend when they are not looking.

Combo Cards

Make your favorite combinations with three cards to make a super hit. When thrown down, it will hit each Bud as a global hit. Not attribute selection is needed.
Stoner version: Each player must take a hit.

The Ripper Card

Goodbye Bud! The player that draws this card losses immediately and all buds get smoked out... That is unless they own a 2nd Wind card.
Stoner version: The player must finish what they started and clear out the entire bowl, blunt, or dab.

2nd Wind Card

Second Wind Buds! This is the only card that can block The Ripper. The player puts The Ripper back into the deck where they would like strategically.

Winner

Can you be the last bud standing? After winning a round of Smoke Session, you will receive XP points for each Bud that played and have a chance at a Stash Box. 1 out of the 3 Stash Boxes will contain an extra reward opportunity!
These rewards can be but not limited to: $DANK, discounts from partners, free items from partners and MonsterBuds, and extra cards to bring into the game with you.
